Cathryn Scalabrino Tamou founded the Foundation for Charitable Events out of a deep-rooted passion for giving back and a desire to amplify the impact of nonprofit organizations. Inspired by years of community involvement and philanthropy, Cathryn created the foundation to serve as a partner and platform for other nonprofits—helping them expand their reach, raise essential funds, and fulfill their missions more effectively.
A lifelong advocate for service, Cathryn has supported a variety of causes including Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Children’s Miracle Network, and The Macomb Charitable Foundation. She has also led numerous fundraising efforts for local animal rescues, driven by both compassion and commitment to community betterment.
Professionally, Cathryn brings over 25 years of success in real estate as an Associate Broker with Keller Williams Lakeside, the largest real estate firm in Macomb County. Her reputation for excellence is built on market expertise, strategic negotiation, and exceptional client service. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Wayne State University, with a focus on Marketing and Sales Management. Her career spans leadership roles in national corporations and entrepreneurship in marketing, all of which contribute to her strategic vision for the foundation.
Through the Foundation for Charitable Events, Cathryn continues her mission to empower others—helping nonprofits thrive and ensuring that compassion and community remain at the heart of everything she does.
